Hi, friends! I’ve been meaning to send out a new post since January and have a whole thing written about goal setting for the year, which I will aim to finish and send shortly. But before I do that, just a quick note to say that I’m teaching a new workshop called Punch Up Your Prose!
The inspiration for this class was a post I spotted in an author group I lurk in on Facebook, where an author said, basically, that she understood story and structure and how to put a novel together, but wanted some help with improving her prose. And I thought, well, that’s something I can do. So the new workshop has a focus on things like choosing the best words and using more active verbs and developing your author voice to really pull in your readers.
